This sock pattern is one of 28 in my ebook, Personal Footprints for Insouciant Sock Knitters. My Personal Footprint method is fun and easy, and captivates even seasoned sock knitters with its innovative approach and ease of fitting any foot. It is ideal for normal feet as well as feet with unusually high or low insteps, and heels of all sizes and shapes.

You can actually work these intricate-looking panels without specific directions. I knit this pair while strolling around the Blue Moon Sock Camp. Charts are included if you prefer to follow them, although I hope you’ll at least experiment with steering your own socks. To do so, simply move the next pair of wraps outward or inward, letting mirror symmetry reward you with beauty.
