STANLEY SNAKE TOY KNITTING PATTERNS
Stanley Snake comes in really handy as a wrist rest on your desk. You can knit your own snake toy with this pattern.
THE PATTERN INCLUDES: Row numbers for each step so you don’t lose your place, instructions for making the snake, photos, a list of abbreviations and explanation of some techniques, a materials list and recommended yarns. The pattern is 4 pages and written in English.
TECHNIQUES: All pieces are knitted flat on straight knitting needles (the patternis written for knitting on straight needles, but you could convert to knitting in the round if you prefer). You will need to cast on and off, knit, purl, work increases and decreases, change colours at the end of the row (knitting stripes), and sew seams.
YARN, NEEDLES AND NOTIONS INCLUDE:
- A pair of straight 3.75mm knitting needles (US 5)
- DK yarn (double knitting or light worsted weight) in green, pink, yellow, blue and white; less than 30g in each colour
- Toy filling
- Two 6mm toy safety eyes (or you can use buttons, or embroider the pupils in black yarn)
