This pattern is for the full lily flower and bud. It can be crocheted in two sizes (Large: 6 inches (15cm) and Small: 4 inches (10cm)) by changing the hook and thread size. This pattern shows step by step guide that includes painting and assembly.

Stitches
st = stitch
sl st = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
beg = beginning
tr = treble crochet
ch = chain
sk = skip
dc = double crochet
hdc = half double crochet

Special Instructions:
• Read all instructions before beginning project.
• Keep stitches as tight as possible by wrapping an extra loop around the index finger guiding
the yarn.
• Once you touch paint with your fingers, do not touch any other part of the petals that you don’t want painted or it WILL transfer.
• If you do end up with transfer, flush the area with water in hopes it will dilute it. But this could cause other problems with other painted areas.
• Keep wet tails away from the painted petal. They can cause unwanted paint transfer.

Size 10 (Large) or 20 (Small)
Wire (must be non-rusting):

  • 0.5mm / 26 gage for the flower and stamen
  • 1.6mm / 14 gage for the stigma and stem Fabric paint in desired lily colors. Tapestry needle Small paint brush Stuffing or yarn ends if making bud. Floral tape in green or forest Floral tape in white (optional)
