Moony Starry Night is a pattern for a toddler sweater/jumper which is available in sizes 2 year old and 3 year old. It is worked flat although the neck is worked in the round requiring a 4mm (US 6) circular needle or dpns.

The pattern includes charts for the colourwork areas which require basic knowledge of intarsia technique.

The yarn used is a DK weight in Rowan Wool Cotton, but can be substituted by other DK weight yarns if correct gauge is obtained. Please use a child friendly and washable yarn!

The pattern asks for an elastic cast off at the collar - full instructions for this are included.

2 skeins are required for the two main colours and one each of the other 3 colours. However, you should have enough yarn leftover in either of the main colours for the ribbing if you didn’t want to stretch to another skein for a contrast coloured ribbing.
