This hat was used in a workshop in my shop. It works up into an attractive quilted appearance with beads at the intersections. We found that working to gauge is of monumental importance. You can use a size 1 for the ribbing, if you’d like the hat to fit a little tighter. The beads are strung on before knitting. This is a great beginner bead knitting project - not too difficult, but more challenge than a plain hat. You will need to know how to knit in the round.

Silk & Silver is really cool yarn! The yarn is a blend of wool, silk, and yes, actual sterling silver (no, it won’t tarnish). It is available in pretty colors as well as black and off white. I am available for knitting help through e-mail.
