Stellaria is inspired by the fascinating shapes of the Lady’s Mantle plant with its thick sculptural leaves and multitudes of tiny blooms.

Stellaria is a crescent shaped shawl, worked in one piece from the garter stitch top down to the lace borders. The floral shapes are created by numerous increases giving the shawl a slightly ruffled edge after blocking.

2 May 2012 - Error in the bind off directions - an ‘s’ is missing from the description - it should read as follows:
+ P1, return st(s) to left needle, p2tog, rep from + to end.
