Stillwater Pond uses traditional Icelandic Lopapeysa construction. Worked seamlessly in the round, the yoke is shaped by decreases incorporated into the colorwork motif.

To Fit Baby/Child 6-12 months (12-24 months, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10).

Finished Measurements 21 (22½, 23¾, 25, 27, 29½, 31¾)”/52.5 56.5, 59, 62.5, 67.5, 73.5, 79cm chest circumference. Pullover shown measures 23¾”/59cm, designed to be worn with 3”/7.5cm of positive ease.

Yarn Rowan Felted Tweed (50% Merino Wool, 25% Alpaca, 25% Viscose/Rayon), 191yds 175m/ 1.76oz 50g: #177 Clay (MC) 2 (2, 3, 3, 4, 4, 5) balls, 1 ball each of #158 Pine (CC1), #161 Avocado (CC2), #184 Celadon (CC3), and #150 Rage (CC4).

Gauge 22 sts and 28 rounds = 4”/10cm in St st using smaller needles; 22 sts and 25 rounds = 4”/10cm over colorwork chart using larger needles.

Notes Pullover is worked in the round from the hem to the collar. Sleeves and body are worked separately until they are joined at the underarms. Yoke is worked on larger needles to maintain consistent gauge. Underarm seams are grafted together using the Kitchener Stitch. The hem, cuffs, and collar all feature a rolled edge.
