Stone Circles
by Sylvia Cosh
The muted tones and soft textures of lichen growing over old stones, creating strange circular formations, suggested the choice of yarns and stitch pattern for this cardigan. The same circles patter as used on Midnight Circles, worked in slightly heavier yarns, is offset by the multi-coloured stripes on sleeve, welt and edgings. The sleeves can be turned back to form cuffs.
A total of 1100g assorted yarns, all approx. chunky weight, including mohair, tweed mixtures, fancy textured yarns and chenille. Finer yarns can be used double, or stranded with other yarns, to bring them up to a suitable weight. Tension: Two circles measure 12 cm.
