Feather yarn are tricky to use. It’s hard to see the stitches and they could get tangled up as you work with them. However, once you learn how to use them, the possibilities are endless. You can create scarves, bags, and other items that would look elegant despite its simple design.

When using this particular yarn, it’s important to use a medium-sized hook so that the feathers don’t get caught in the stitches without creating unwanted gap. It’s also not necessary to create elaborate designs when using this yarn. They tend to get obscured because of the feather.

This scarf is originally designed as a birthday gift for my co-worker. She said she loved pink and purple and was trying to borrow my own scarf so I made her one instead.
