This a simple to knit owl, and there is no tricky colour-work as the features are embroidered after knitting using Swiss Darning (also known as duplicate stitch). A chart is included in the pattern for the colour-work.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the owl is knitted in wool/alpaca blend aran weight yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 4.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 7).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Drops Nepal (65% wool/35% alpaca) in shades Grey Mix 0501, White 1101, and Goldenrod 2923. 


NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, a handful of toy filling, and two 6mm beads or toy safety eyes.

SIZES
One size only - 10cm tall x 9cm wide.
