If you have serious winters and want a quick but interesting knit, this is the cowl for you!

This intricate cable and leaf cowl has some interesting stitches but still knits up quickly in chunky yarn. The back is notched so that it sits nicely on your shoulders. This is not a beginner’s project due to a few complicated increases and decreases, but for those with some experience, it’s a fun knit with some cool stitches!

Skills required
Long-tail cast-on
Backwards-loop cast-on
Increasing with yarn overs and centered double increases
Single, double, triple, and quadruple (!!) decreases
Cables

See the helpful tutorials on the pages tab in my Ravelry group for help with a few of the tricky bits.

Sample was knit with Cascade 220 Grande in colorway #9450
