This dress was made for a short vacation at the Baltic Sea with my dress-loving godchild. The Baltic Sea is reflected in the colors chosen and the wave-like lace-pattern at the hem of the dress. The square neck reflects the sailors uniforms without being to chintzy. The cotton is light enough to allow wearing it in the summersun but keeps the core of the child warm in a cold breeze as well.
It’s one size only, but more sizes will follow as soon as I find time to experiment. ALSO: Please inform me about mistakes or difficult to understand parts of the pattern!
ERATA: There is a mistake in the old version of the pattern. An update was posted July, 1st 2012. For all earlier downloads - in the increase section at the beginning of the skirt part it should read:
repeat row 28-35 5 times
