Summer breeze is a sweet little set with a matinee jacket with a big sailor type collar, a pair of matching trousers either full length or short like bloomers, and a choice of hats for a boy or a bit fancier for a girl.

It is all made up of a shell stitch, which is simple, but there is quite a bit of shaping as I like to make my garments with as few seams as possible, so make them very neat, and to avoid unnecessary seams.

The jacket on its own makes a nice baby gift, and I have made many of them in different colours, with different trimmings.
