With just a small seam, an asymmetrical shawl is turned into an easy to wear cowl. The upper portion of the cowl is worked in simple stockinette stitch. The lower portion is worked in an easy-to-memorize, 4 row star lace pattern. The cowl is a fun and quick to knit project.

Finished Size
26.5” (67cm) depth at longest point, 35.5” (90 cm) at bottom edge, 24” (60 cm) circumference at top neck opening

Notes
This cowl is formed by sewing the bind off edge to the long side edge. You may choose to not sew these edges together and wear the piece as an asymmetrical shawl.
