Suomaa sock pattern was exclusive to the Finnish knitting club Kalakukkojen neuleklubi until May 1st, 2017.
The pattern includes only one stitch count, and the size can be adjusted by changing the gauge by adjusting yarn weight and needles.
Female size is obtained with gauge 27 sts and 38 rows /10cm using 3.0mm needles and stockinette stitch. 3.5mm needles are used for the stranded colourwork.
Male size is obtained with gauge 22 sts and 32 rows /10cm using 3.5mm needles and stockinette stitch. 4.0mm needles are used for the stranded colourwork.
