This sweater fits the new-ish Curvy Barbie. It is yoke-styled and has two different waist options- fitted or loose. It has simple increases and decreases. The yoke-style does seem to take up more yarn than the typically Raglan doll sweater so plan for a little more yarn. I nearly messed up on the grey sweater!

Story about this sweater, I found a 1975 Kenner Trendsetter Dusty doll at a Salvation Army for $5. I felt before Dusty goes to the shelf she needed a hand knit sweater and a pair of blue jeans. I made this sweater to fit Dusty. I thought it was worth the try to see if it fits Curvy Barbie also. Dusty was made more sporty- wide shoulders, long arms, and a thick wash board stomach. Even though Dusty and curvaceous Barbie look different, they’re dimensions are generally the same. Dusty isn’t in the photos yet. She has no pants and I am respecting her modesty.
