This elegant crescent shaped shawl is named after my grandson Logan, born 2/1/18. The shawl is 20” deep (with short rows) and has a wingspan of 92”

Sweet Logan uses 2 different colorways of fingering weight yarn. Approximately 300 yards of MC and 420 yards of CC.
Grey/Purple shawl Desert Bloom Yarn, Bliss. Colorways Blackfoot Daisy and Vervain.
Hot Pink/Black Desert Bloom Yarn Bliss, colorways Ironwood and Desert Penstemon

Increases are added at both edges. Two different slip stitch patterns are incorporated between the MC (Main Color) stockinette sections. A border of lace completes the shawl.
There is an optional “short row” section to add depth to your shawl.

There is a link to a video turorial for the first slipped stitch design.

Gauge is not critcal but a differnt gauge will impact yardage. If you are a tight knitter, you may want to consider using a larger needle, especially for the for the slip stitch designs.

A special thank you to my test knitters, mollysmaid and caki.
