The inspiration for this pattern came from the infamous wind and kite surfing location just out side of Hood River Oregon, referred to as Swell City. When given the perfect conditions, the river and wind form some of the most beautiful swell that the local wind and kite surfers just can’t get enough of. The pattern repeat in this sock represents the swell and the side columns the basalt rocks the make up the banks of the Columbia River.

Swell City will be available thru Pico Accuardi Dyeworks in a Made In Oregon callender/date book debuting at Sock Summit 2011 Portland Oregon.
