Für alle, die schon (zu) lange auf Swing-Stricken™ Kursbaustein 5 warten, hier ein kleines weihnachtliches Projekt - der Swingy Xmas ist schnell gemacht und kann als Türkranz oder in einem Adventskorb als Adventskranz jedem zeigen, dass Swing-Stricken™ einfach klasse aussieht!

Wer die Swing-Stricken™ Kursbausteine 1 und 2 gemacht hat, kann ihn stricken - wir arbeiten zwar mit Sicherheitsnadeln zum Markieren der verkürzten Reihen, die Nadeln interagieren aber nicht, so dass man den Inhalt von Kursbaustein 3 noch nicht können muss.

Der Workshop zeigt als Photo Tutorial sehr ausführlich die komplette Entstehung des Swingy Xmas auf 32 Seiten mit 52 Farbfotos vom Maschenanschlag über das Swing-Stricken™ bis zum Zusammensetzen des Kranzes und der drei Dekorationen.

Ich habe heute ein Update hochgeladen, in dem ich zusätzlich Schritt für Schritt erkläre, wie man den Kranz mit einem gekauften Styroporkranz füllen kann.

Here is a small Christmas project for all of you who are already waiting (too long :)) for Swing-Knitting™ Workshop 5. The Swingy Xmas is a fast and easy project and can be used as a door wreath or put into a basket with candles and serve as Advent wreath - so everyone can see how super Swing-Knitting™ looks!

You can do the Swingy Xmas after having finished Swing-Knitting™ Workshops 1 and 2 - we use safety pin as markers for the short rows but there is no pin interaction, so you needn’t know Workshop 3 (yet).

Swingy Xmas is a Photo Tutorial that shows the making of the wreath step by step - on 32 pages with 53 color photos you can see the whole process from casting on over Swing-Knitting™ to completing the wreath and the three decorations.

The workshop is available in German and English.

I have updated the pattern with a different method of filling the wreath, with a bought styrofoam wreath. Both the English and the German version of the update are released now!
