  • Sample is shown with 2” / 5 cm positive ease. 0 to 3” / 0 to 7.5 cm positive ease is recommended.

Yarn

  • Fingering Weight yarn, sample used Grignasco Bambi, 100% Merino, 152 yards / 139 meters per 50 grams ball, Yarn A in color 1111 Light Gray and Yarn B in color 1112 Dark Gray
  • Yarn A – 685 (750, 830, 910, 965, 1060, 1075, 1280, 1400) yards / 630 (685, 760, 835, 885, 970, 985, 1170, 1280) meters

Gauge

  • 34 sts x 60 rows = 4” x 4” / 10 cm x 10 cm in pattern after blocking.
  • Row gauge seems unusual due to slipped stitch rows.

Design

  • Funnel neck and saddle shoulder sleeves in contrast pattern to the body.
  • Only one color yarn is worked each round.
  • Use slip sts to create contrast color dots.
  • Use twisted stitches to create textures.
