As the name of this sweater suggests, the colorwork is not what it may seem at a first glance. Mosaic stitch is essentially a slip-stitch knitting that looks like stranded knitting – but is easier to execute, since only one color is used in any given round. The mock V-neck is knitted in the same stripe sequence as the body and therefore is worked simultaneously with it. Slipped stitches on either side of the V help to embed the simple stripe into the patterned body and bring the two together.

  • SIZE & SKILL LEVEL Finished chest circumference - 26 (27½, 29, 30½, 32, 33½) in / 66 (70, 73.5, 77.5, 81.5, 85) cm. To fit sizes 4 (6, 8, 10, 12, 14). Shown in size 10.

Intermediate difficulty - Knit, purl, decreases, slipped sts, picking up sts, working in the round, short rows.
