Knitting out my grief for the children, for the families, for the communities devastated by the Residential Schools and the actions of our government. This shouldn’t have happened. I am not a political person but I am a mother and I can imagine the pain. This was so wrong.

This poncho is knit with super bulky yarn making it very heavy for a lace garment. Because of the mesh construction the poncho drapes closely to the body. It is like wearing a hug. Wear it, share it with love.

This pattern has been done quickly and has not been test knit. Please feel free to contact me with questions.

The pattern is both written and charted.
