TEENY MOUSE TOY KNITTING PATTERNS
This tiny little mouse can be knitted as a teeny toy, or you could use it as a pendant or a bag charm. If you don’t have any toy filling in your stash, you could even use a few cotton wool balls to stuff your little mouse.
THE PATTERN INCLUDES: Row numbers for each step so you don’t lose your place, instructions for making the mouse, a list of abbreviations and explanation of some techniques, a materials list and recommended yarns. The pattern is 2 pages and written in English.
TECHNIQUES: All pieces are knitted flat (back and forth) on a pair of straight knitting needles. You will need to cast on and off, knit, purl, increase and decrease, and sew seams. I have knitted my mouse on straight needles but you could convert to knitting in the round if you wish.
YARN, NEEDLES & NOTIONS INCLUDE:
- A pair of straight 3.5mm knitting needles (US 4)
- Double knitting yarn (DK or light worsted weight) in grey (less than 5g will be more than adequate)
- A small amount of toy filling (or cotton wool balls) to stuff
- Beads for the eyes
