This Teeny Whale is a quick knitting project to use up odds and ends of yarn. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the little toy is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
Three 3.75mm single pointed knitting needles (US 5).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; a few grammes in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, felt fabric scraps and seed beads for eyes.

SIZES
One size only - 6cm long.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, intarsia colour-work, a three-needle bind off, and a little bit of seaming to finish.
