This sweater has a row of happy little birds on a rounded yoke. The color work on the yoke only, and the body of the sweater is a single color. It is knit in the round, bottom-up, then the sleeves are added after the yoke is finished. The knitter has the option to shape the waist and bust, and can adjust the length of the body. Also, the knitter can opt for shorter or longer sleeves.

The pattern is written for worsted weight yarn, but an adventurous knitter would have enough information to make yarn adjustments. Written and charted instructions are included. The color work requires less than 150 yards total of yarn, thus the knitter will use less than a skein for each color (or an entire skein if choosing only a single contrasting color).
