The Chevron Hat was designed to be a quick knit hat that has texture, style, and structure, but can also keep your head warm on a cold day. The hat uses basic stitches, but it helps to have worked on a few hats with more complex patterns before starting on this one.

Pair the pattern with a nice shade of pink for a gal or a gun metal gray for a guy.

While you can use any bulky weight yarn for this hat, it was designed using KnitPicks’ Wool of the Andes bulky line of yarn. If you use a different yarn, make sure to create a swatch in stockinet stitch to get the proper gauge.
