This time I got inspiration from my friends blog’s „The Flight of the Butterfly“ name (and she allowed to use it), I felt – „Yes, that kind of shawl I have to make“.

Yarn
Any cobweb or lace yarn is good for this shawl. But know that heavier yarn (100g=1200m, or 100g=1000m) needs larger needles and more yarn and shawl’s measurement increases as well

Needles and notions:
2,5 mm (US 1½) -3 mm (US 2½) 80cm / 32“ circular needle.
4-4,5 mm (US 6-7) 80cm / 32“ circular needle for cast on.
1 cable needle.
1 DPN needle for 3-needles-bind-off.
Removable stitch marker(s) if you prefer to mark middle stitch and pattern repeats.

Samples:
White shawl is from fine mixed wool (70% wool, 20% silk, 10 % cashmere). Weight is 76 g. It’s 202 cm wide and 100 cm height.
Yellow shawl is from Malabrigo Lace (007 Cadmium), weight is 129 g. It’s 166 cm wide and 83 cm height.

Erratum: Before you start Row 89 you should have 303 stitches on your needle.
