The Gianna Sweater knitting pattern is a simple, beginner-friendly knit – both in design and construction. This cropped jumper knitting pattern has a boxy fit with narrow sleeves and a round neckline. The textured detail on the cuffs and hem adds a little interest, while using simple techniques.

It’s a perfect pattern for beginner knitters, and those with a little experience, to transition into making garments and pick up a few new skills. You’ll knit the front, back and sleeves of the jumper separately and then sew them together.

Skills you’ll use when knitting this jumper include knit stitch, purl stitch, decreasing and seaming.
