When I was younger I loved mermaids (I still do!). The three main aesthetics when I used to doodle them was the tail, the seashell bra, and the hair, and so I chose a colour to represent each and turned my favourite mermaid into a shawl! Shaped like a traditional triangular shawl but knit sideways, there is an optional mini mermaid tail for added whimsy.

Choose your favourite colours, or draw inspiration from your favourite fictional mermaid and knit them into shawl form.

I used 3x50g skeins to complete the design, and I think variegated would work beautifully as well as solids.
