Pick a yarn…. any yarn (these are fingering weight)…. add some mitered squares…. keep going for a bit…. Voila… a cozy cowl to snuggle into. Make it long so you can double it up or make it short so it sits close to your neck. Both options are quick, easy and pretty colourful.

Strip by strip - not a lot of ends to darn in as each (except the first ones in the strips) is picked up from the previous one.

Mitered squares mix up colours beautifully or show off long-colour-changing yarns in a pleasing way (like the Poems Sock version-- or use some Noro).
