An homage to the world’s first blogger.

Sei Shonagan’s Pillow Book, completed in the year 1002, was a diary of lists, events at court, and private thoughts. Since her time the term “pillow book” has come to mean a collection of thoughts that explore a certain time in a person’s life. This pillowcase will be pure joy to create in silk and handwriting-infused muslin, and can hold the thoughts and lists closest to your heart right now.

The pattern calls for 1 hank of the linen yarn, but you will have leftovers.
