This is a pattern for a lace turtleneck scarf. The panels allow you to show off your knitting skills (and have fun knitting it), while the turtleneck section keeps you warm. This scarf is made using dk weight yarn and size #5 (U.S.) needles. The lace is a fairly intricate one, (in that it does not have a purl back row). However, if you enjoy lace knitting, this is a lace that’s fun to try, and worth the extra work. As a result of the construction of the scarf, the lace falls in the same direction for both sides of the scarf.

Skill Level: Intermediate - Intermediate + (assuming a basic knowledge of knitting, purling and lace experience.)

Although this is a one size fits most, there are helpful hints within the pattern on how to make the scarf longer or shorter.

The scarf in the sample was made using Lorna’s Laces Honor yarn in colorway, Berry.
