The Royal Gem is a little soft squishy beaded bag. A drawstring strap and detachable necklace are included. When you remove the necklace, the Royal Gem becomes a mini sculpture.

50 grams of Beadwrangler Seed Bead Mix

200 yard spool of Jean Stitch Crochet Thread

2 medium size twisted wire needles

matching button for necklace closure

2 color coordinated hypo-allergenic earwires

20 page fully illustrated instruction booklet

You will also need scissors; #7, #9, or #11 steel crochet hook depending on tension; sewing/embroidery needle. Instructions feature written directions, photos and diagrams. Technique is fully explained and instructions are included for 5 different varieties of necklace strap, 2 versions of the royal gem purse itself (regular and less beads), 3 bead crochet earring patterns, and additional directions to alter the gem into a closed medallion for use as a brooch or other ornament. Kit includes materials to make at least one drawstring gem bag, a necklace strap and pair of earrings. To make every optional variation of all items in the instructions you will need additional size 11/0 beads, depending on choices made.
