The Shoreline Shawl is an elegant asymmetrical shawl in stockinette stitch with a contrasting colour lace chevron pattern with tassels

THIS PRODUCT IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE AS A DIGITAL DOWNLOAD ONLY

Created by the talented Juanita Muir, of JuaKnits, the Shoreline Shawl was designed in Quince & Co Sparrow yarn. The linen makes it perfect as a light summer shawl, but the pattern is very versatile and can be made in many different yarns.

The shawl has been successfully made in Nurturing Fibres Eco Lush, Anzula Breeze and Malabrigo Sock. It would be great in Illimani Sabri, Nurturing Fibres Superwash Sock or Nurturing Fibres Kidsilk.

Try any fingering weight yarn — bamboo blends give lovely drape, whereas merino will make a cosy winter appropriate shawl. Add some bling by using a yarn with lurex or stelina for the lace section.

A lace weight yarn could be held double (or even combined with a mohair lace for a warm and fuzzy piece).

The large stockinette section shows off variegated yarns beautifully — this is your chance to use that special skein!

WING SPAN: 180 cm
LACE EDGE: 110cm

The pattern explains how to increase the size of your shawl should you wish to do so.

You will need 310m of the Main Colour, and 155m of the Secondary (Lace) colour.

If you make your shawl larger please account for extra yarn used.
