I designed it for the knit-a-square charity project that requires 20x20 cm sguares made into blankets for african children.

It is called “the snow shovel charity square” because it has a simple motif of a snow shovel - to shovel away the cold as simple as the shovel shovels away the snow in winter.

Use it for anything you fancy, modify it, give it away.

I made it with the beginner in mind - it is a very simple square utilising basic techniques. the gauge is not important, neither is the yarn. for the sample, an acrylic blend with a bit of rayon was used.
