The texture of this sock reminds me of little stars, thus the name. The sock begins with Judy’s Magic cast-on and is worked from the toe up. The tapered toe and the bottom of the sock are knitted in stockinette stitch, while the top of the foot and the leg are worked in a simple textured pattern, made up of knits and purls. The cuff is knitted in a rib. The simple pattern is easy to memorize and knits up quickly.

The sock was designed to fit a lady’s foot. However, the texture of the stock is very stretchy, so the pattern can easily be adjusted to fit a man’s foot as well.
