The Uncanny is part of the ebook Ghosts: historiographies, cultural manifestations, and the knits they’ve inspired.

Inspired by the often subtly uncanny features of ghosts, these socks feature lovely twisted cables that cross and dance over the top of the foot and leg.
They trace all the way up to the cuff, where they integrate with the twisted ribbing which finishes off the pattern.

The Uncanny are toe-up, using the Eastern/Turkish Method cast on and short row heels.

Find essays into the topic of ghosts in the ebook - the single pattern does not feature this information!
