This is a knitting pattern and requires approximately 40 yards of handspun yarn (with a weight of about 2 - 2.5 oz per 50 yards) and size 10.5 double pointed knitting needles.

For this project, you should be able to work in rounds on double pointed needles, cast on, knit, purl, k2tog, and bind off. Pattern includes instructions for making the perfect fluffy pom pom WITHOUT a special pom pom maker.
