Tidal Pool is available for purchase in one of two ways:

First, either here on Ravelry or in my shop, you can purchase a traditionally-written Tidal Pool pattern for $8. It comes in

Or, you can purchase a fully-custom version of Tidal Pool for $12.50 here on CustomFit. You can customize body shape, length, sleeve length, and fit before creating your custom pattern. Your pattern will be written specifically to your measurements, choices, and gauge.

Tidal Pool is an updated take on a classic gansey sweater, with a clean silhouette and slight a-line shaping. The scoop neck, sleeves, and hem are trimmed with small amounts of 2x2 ribbing, and textured stitch patterning decorates the top of both the front and back of the garment. 3/4 sleeves and a sport-weight yarn make this sweater comfortable in several seasons. I designed it for my fall 2016 make. wear. love. retreat, which is held on the coast of Maine where I grew up - and it reflects the classic, unfussy style I grew up seeing there.

The garment is worked in pieces from the bottom up with set-in sleeves, and seamed for a tailored look. The garment features set-in sleeves and side-seam shaping for the a-line silhouette.

Rosy Green Wool is committed to fair, humane, and environmentally-friendly production of high-quality knitting yarn. The result is an incredibly soft, beautifully colored product that you can feel amazing about purchasing. Cheeky Merino Joy, in particular, offers exquisitely-sharp stitch definition and a magnificent hand. It comes in a wide variety of sophisticated colors, and I highly recommend it for this sweater. However, should you need to substitute, you’ll need approximately 940 (1005, 1100, 1155, 1255, 1335, 1430, 1565, 1745, 1930, 2100, 2270) yds / 860 (920, 1005, 1055, 1145, 1220, 1310, 1430, 1595, 1765, 1920, 2075) m.
