This pattern is for a 5 inch high tree with 5 tiers, this used approximately 100 meters of 4ply yarn with a 3mm hook, different yarn weights can be used, but will use a different amount of meters.
Gauge is not listed as it’s not critical for the pattern, so long as you have a firm, relatively dense fabric that your happy with.
Notes are included on how to make smaller versions and how to increase to make bigger versions.
A single stitch is used throughout- US single crochet/ UK double crochet, you will need to be familiar with working increases, decreases and working the back loops and front loops only.
Any type of yarn can be used but bear in mind that a cotton based yarn will give definition to the tiers.
