Tim Turtle is chatting with their little friend Tom. This pattern is worked mostly in stockinette, with knitted stripes and simple increases and decreases for shaping. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the turtles are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; 50g in each colour

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, plus buttons and felt fabric scraps for eyes.

SIZES
One size only - Tim the large turtle is 11cm tall x 16cm long, and Tom the small turtle is 5cm tall x 10cm long.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, kfb increase and k2tog decrease, and seaming to finish.
