Tipsy - The Dance Sock

These toe up yoga, ballet, or dance socks keep your feet and ankles warm, while leaving the heel and ball free for optimal grip on smooth surfaces. The warm and airy brioche stitch is combined with sturdy stranded work for the sole of the sock. The design includes a heel flap and a tapering tip on top of the foot for extra coverage.

The pattern is for shoe size EUR 40-42.
For other sizing systems see this overview of shoe sizes.

The shown socks are done in worsted weight wool with a meterage (yardage) of 100m (109yd) per 50g (1.76oz). The yarn can be substituted by similar worsted weight, or light aran weight yarn.
The socks are worked bottom up and use one 50g (1.76oz) skein of yarn per sock.
