In the title, you put the name of the person for whom you are making it.

But to me this will always be To Zola With Love Shawl.
This is a design that I worked up with someone special in mind. It is a prayer shawl.

Center Medallion, unblocked -- 15” square;
Side Panels, unblocked -- 15” wide x 19 3/4” long
Shawl pieces assembled and blocked 71” long x 19 1/2” wide

It is a uniquely constructed shawl and it can be knit in several way.
WAY #1--Knit in 3 pieces, by 3 knitters knitting on the project at the same time, then joining the two side panels to the Centerpoint by grafting the sts (this is super easy on this project).
WAY#2--Knit by 3 knitters, with each person knitting one of the sections and passing it on to the next knitter(no grafting necessary).
WAY #3--Knitting it all by yourself (no grafting of sts).
I will be putting it up as a free download soon. I want as many people to make it for that someone special who needs prayers, love and encouragement, as possible.
In the title, please put the name of the person for whom you are making it.

A change that I meant to make!
When doing the finished edge along the side of the Center Medallion, it calls for a K2 tog (that joins the cast on edge sts with the live sts of the edge of the Center Medallion), please replace this with a “Slip one as if to knit, K1, pass slipped st over.” Do this on Row 4 of the Second finished Edge, too. This decrease looks much smoother.

First Finished Edge
Row 1: Knit across to next marker; leave the sts on other 3 remaining sides unworked.
Row 2: Turn; purl back across to beginning marker: 61 sts.
Row 3: Turn; cast 3 sts onto left-hand needle, K4: 64 sts.
Row 4: Turn; slip 1 as if to knit, K1, pass slipped st over (this slip 1 as if to knit, K1, pass slipped st over, joins the cast on sts with the sts on the edge of Center Medallion to produce a nice 3-stitch garter edge), K2.
Row 5: Turn; slip 1 as if to knit, K3.
Row 6: Turn; slip 1 as if to knit, K1, pass slipped st over, K2.
Repeat Rows 5 and 6, 59 times. You will have used all of the 61 sts along this edge on the Center Medallion: 3 edge sts remaining.
Erratta: Rnd 49 of the Center Medallion is missing a YO.
Should be:

Rnd 49: * K1, YO, K7, YO, (SK2P, YO, K7, YO) 5 times; repeat from * 3 times more: 60 sts between each marker, 240 sts total. Thank you mducky for catching it.

Erratta: Lace Edging, page 6, Rnd 9. The last “YO, K1, SSK” should not be there. The Chart is right, this problem is only in the written instructions.
Should be:
Rnd 9: Slip 1 as if to knit, K3, K2 tog, YO, K1, K2 tog, YO, K2 tog, K2, YO, K1, YO, K2, SSK, YO, SSK, K1, * YO, SSK, (K1, K2 tog, YO) twice, K2 tog, K2, YO, K1, YO, K2, SSK, YO, SSK, K1; repeat from * across to last 6 sts, YO, SSK, K4.
Thank you once again, mducky for catching it.
