In order for you to follow this pattern’s instructions properly and have your attempt at recreating what I have designed turn out anything similar to the reference picture I have displayed, you are expected to have at least a basic knowledge of how to crocheting.

Techniques you should know are…
Magic Circle (MC)
Single crochet (Sc)
Chain stitch (Ch)
Increasing (Inc) or (2Sc)
Decreasing (Dec) or (sc2tog)
Slip Stitch (Sl St)
and basic sewing for attaching pieces together.

If made using medium/worsted weight yarn and corresponding hook size you can expect the hat to fit your toddler.
