Here’s a fun and quick knit to make giving a simple gift a little more interesting, and it can be used again and again as an ornament for the tree.

This stocking is knit like a toe up sock using magic loop. I used a basic short row heel because it’s quick, but feel free to substitute the heel of your choice.

This would make a good beginner’s sock pattern since you don’t have to worry about it fitting anyone, and it introduces you to several different toe up sock techniques.
