To make sure of a good, snug fit choose the same weight yarn and the same size needles (or the next size up for a looser boot) that you knitted your animal doll in.

YARN - this is a guide to what I used for my Frog’s Snug Boots:
Yarn A (Boot Instep) tiny amount 4-ply weight in light-brown colour, I used Drops Alpaca shade 2020 Light-Camel-Mix
Yarn B (Boot Sole) tiny amount 4-ply weight in off-white I used Drops Alpaca shade 0100 Off-White

KNITTING NEEDLES 4 x size 2.25mm/ US size 1 dpns (double-pointed needles. See note on Page 4 - if you are opting for the flat-knit version you can use 2 x single pointed needles)
TENSION 14 rows x 10 stitches over 2.5cm/ 1in with 2.25mm/ US size 1 knitting needles and yarn A or B
