As part of the #AugCAL on Google+, we were challenged to make our own pattern and write it to share. My son’s stuffed dinosaur (Trey) was in need of a blankie. After consulting with my clients, this is what was developed. The original is about 14” square, but the pattern can be repeated as often as desired and with whatever weight yarn or thread and appropriate hook.
The original is made with a total of about 6 ounces (no more than 2 ounces each) of three different colors of Simply Soft, This is a great way to use up some tail ends, or a single skein if making a blanket for a toy. This can be made as big as you’d like, just keep repeating a 4 round pattern.
