Trottola - Italian for spinning top, a simple children’s toy. The socks’ cable feature is shaped to mimic the spinning top.

Trottola socks feature a fun cable down the front and rib around the back leg. The cable begins on the cuff and continues all the way to the toe shaping.

Beginning at the cuff the sock features a slipped rib heel flap, Dutch heel turn and the foot is finished with a rounded toe. The cables continue along the instep; while the sole is knit in stocking stitch for maximum comfort.

Both foot and leg length are fully adjustable, perfect for using all your yarn – make them as short or long as you like.

The pattern includes both written and charted instructions.
