Elegant wristwarmers with a textural tulip design inspired by Charles Rennie Mackintosh

Named after his wife and fellow designer Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh, I like to think she would have worn these.

Malabrigo Yarn Sock
100% superwash merino; 402m/440yd per 100g skein Can be substituted with any fine fingering/4ply that knits to gauge.
S/M - 50g 250m/275yd
M/L - 55g 275m/300yd

1 set 2.75mm double-point needles or 2.75mm circular needles

This pattern was designed as an entry to the Glasgow School of Yarn design competition. The brief was to design and make something inspired by the life or works of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. My entry was highly commended.

ERRATA: Ignore stitch column 58 on the Right 2 chart and stitch column 8 on the Left 2 chart to omit 1 extra purl stitch each row from rows 56 to 64. (Fixed 06.03.15 Version 2 of pattern)
