Das Tuch wird größtenteils kraus rechts gestrickt und ist damit ein entspanntes Projekt für zwischendurch. Den Abschluss bildet eine hübsche Lochmusterbordüre mit Tulpenmotiv, die dem Muster zusammen mit seiner Form den Namen gab. Alternativ kann auch ein Rüschenrand gestrickt werden. Beide Versionen werden in der Anleitung beschrieben.

Das Tuch mit Lochmusterrand wurde mit einem 750m Glitzerling von Wollium, 4+1-fädig, in der Farbe Diva Antik gestrickt. Das Tuch mit Rüschenrand wurde mit 2 Strängen handgefärbter Sockenwolle (4-fach) gestrickt. Die Schals sind ca. 30-35 x 190-210 cm groß. Die Größe kann sehr leicht durch Hinzufügen oder Weglassen von Reihen verändert werden.

Die Anleitung enthält eine Strickschrift für das Lochmuster sowie Beschreibungen von einzelnen Reihen.

The name “Tulpenmond” consists of two German words: “Tulpen” are tulips, and “Mond” is moon. Together, they stand for a moon-like shaped scarf with a lace edge full of tulips. Or, if you prefer, you can work an easy ruffled edge instead. The pattern contains both versions.
The main part of the scarf is worked in garter stitch and is therefore a perfect project to relax.

The scarf with the lace edge is made of 820 yards (750m) of a gradient yarn called “Glitzerling” (Wollium 4+1 fädig), color Diva Antik. The scarf with the ruffled edge is made of 2 skeins of hand dyed sock yarn (ca. 460 yards (420 m) / 100 g) .
You can easily adjust the size by adding or reducing some rows.

The pattern consists of a lace pattern chart and written descriptions of single rows.
